Event Management
Success Strategist
I have over 30 years of Directing Mega-Events including the largest indoor concert ever held in the United States, at the Louisiana Superdome (The 1981 Rolling Stones Concert, which attracted 87,500 people), The 1982 NCAA Final 4 (first ever held in a Domed Stadium), Superbowl XX and Super Bowl XXXVI to name a few.
As a Venue Manager, I have been the Liaison for two NFL Teams (Saints & Falcons), the NFL, the Sugar Bowl, the Peach Bowl and the 1996 Centennial Olympics.
Growing up as a Rolling Stones fan, I had the pleasure of managing the Stones in the Superdome for the World Indoor Attendance Record.
In 1992, the NCAA was very concerned about hosting the Final 4 in a cavernous Domed Stadium. All fears were calmed as this is now the norm. Michael Jordan scoring the winning basket in the 1982 NCAA Final 4 which I managed.
As the Liaison with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, we hosted Gymnastics and Basketball for the 1996 Olympic Games.
I have managed two Super Bowls: Super Bowl XX at Louisiana Superdome in 1986 and Superbowl XXXIV at the Georgia Superdome. Seen here, not afraid to get my hands (gloves) dirty…
